kaNO Bic Buddy
Very exciting stuff going on this week, shipment of A/P Bic Buddy's are here including two chases. All three designs glow in the dark (green) but the chases have a blue and red tint to the mask and details. This marks kaNO's first blind box series. " I was very excited about the process, not to mention that Bic and Marka 27 did an awesome job at gathering up a nice melting pot of artist which represent the east and west coast to the fullest. I loaded the kaNO shop with Bic Buddy's so hit up the shop if you want to cut to the chase!"

Younity presents Fresher!!
Last Friday night I went to go check out the Younity crews Fresher event, as always it didn't disapoint, the music was dope, the atmosphere was chill and the artwork was Fresh! of course.
It's always nice to see Toofly doing her thing, her hustle comes from the heart and you gotta show love for that. I couldn't stay to long so I made sure to come early peep the artwork and dip out. For more info check out Toofly's blog. I took some pics but mine don't do the event justice, so I'm borrowing some from Tone photography, for more amazing pics check out his site.

Also it was dope to see someone rocking the moneygrip medallion. especially since homie had no idea who I was, I kind of like it better when it happens that way. I swiped this pic from 2fly

Raw Power! Jersey City
Well for the last two weekends I have been hitting up Jersey city for some mural painting. Raw Power is this program some of the folks from Jersey city are putting on in order to make the area more of an art destination. Artist from different backgrounds are invited to partake in painting 4'X8' panels, which will all be hung on display across from the 305 warren street building. The event was sponsored by montana which donated a ton of there "94" paint which i am totally in love with at the moment, it just goes on so smoothly. I haven't touched spray paint in a very long time so I was a little nervous, but as I usually do in such situations... I just jumped in and went for it.

I decided to use 2 panels and place them side by side, so my pieces where 8'X8'. The first piece I did was really big and simple, pretty much a warm up to get my confidence going. I also figured I would go big and bold because these will be hung up 20 feet on the side of a building and you can see it better from far.

...after that I went home and wanted to get a little more fancy so I came back the next weekend and knocked the second piece out. I had a lot of fun with the second piece and i think it came out cool, however I still want to step it up more especially since I was feeling the can control creeping in halfway lol. I definitely need more practice.

kaNO X Argonauts Resin

Whats up guys?, well a lot of you have been asking about the tinted moneygrips since we displayed them at NYCC. Here is the scoop, I linked up with Argonauts Resin on this super limited edition release of moneygrips. The 4 pieces are made of solid see through resin and are each tinted in different colors, so only one of each. Originally this run was to be 5 pieces, unfortunately the Mold Broke in production and we are not able to complete the fifth, which would of been purple by the way. Anyhow, these will be the 4 super limited edition Argonauts resin moneygrips, each will come with a custom box painted by yours truly. Stay tuned for more pics and launch release dates.

WTF?!!!

Well... let me start off by saying I have nothing to do with this. My friend sent me this link today and it totally threw me off guard. I guess someone out there has my moneygrip character on there mind when they're in front of a naked girl, it would probably be the last thing on my mind LOL. Anyway I was really flattered by this in a weird way, I have no idea who the artist is or who the girl is, but the image is from this site called Shriiimp.com

Air Jordan 2009
Well, as some of you may know I have been a sneaker head since before I could tie my laces, so I was really excited to get invited to the VIP Air Jordan 2009 sneaker launch. The kicks look pretty dope, however I am too much of a fan of the classics to rock anything new. Big ups to Nike and Jordan brand for keeping the name alive for years to come and for making a lil ghetto kids dream come true :)Sunday, January 18, 2009
Street Tribe

Well, the show was off the hook, mad people came and showed love on one of the coldest nights of the year. The place was jam packed for the whole 3 hours while me and Jess dog rocked the live painting. The show will be up until mid February, so make sure you swing by once the weather gets better. I have to admit I was really worried about nobody showing up because it was so cold, but man... I was dead wrong. Big ups to Time Out New York for promoting the event and Vimby for sending over a photographer. Also big ups to Juxtapoz for putting the event on there calender.peace
